Information
The Ukrainian Premier League consists of 16 participating teams, competing in a home-and-away double round-robin format. Teams are awarded 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 points for a loss. After 30 rounds, the final rankings of the first stage are determined by the total number of points accumulated. If two or more teams are tied on points, the following tie-breaking criteria are applied sequentially: a) Head-to-head records b) Head-to-head goal difference c) Head-to-head total goals scored d) Overall goal difference e) Overall total goals scored f) Play-off match European Qualification and Relegation Spots: The league champion (1st place) qualifies for the second qualifying round of the next season's UEFA Champions League. The teams finishing 2nd and 3rd qualify for the second qualifying round of the next season's UEFA Conference League. The winner of the Ukrainian Cup qualifies for the next season's UEFA Europa League qualification. If the Ukrainian Cup winner has already secured a European spot, the European qualification with the lower priority will be allocated to the next highest-ranked team in the league standings. Teams finishing 13th and 14th will participate in the relegation play-offs, while the teams finishing 15th and 16th are directly relegated.
