Israeli Premier League, consisting of 20 teams, is a double round-robin competition. There are 26 rounds in the league. Teams are ranked by points. Teams receive three points for a win and one point for a draw. No points are awarded for a loss. If teams are tied, then count goal difference, wins, goals and head-to-head result. The top 6 teams of the league will enter the championship play-offs, while the last 8 teams will go to the relegation play-offs.
