Real Madrid Eyeing Trent Alexander-Arnold for Free Transfer

Real Madrid are reportedly looking to secure the signing of Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold ahead of next season. The Spanish giants are planning to sign the England international on a free transfer next summer, when his contract with Liverpool expires.  

While Alexander-Arnold's current deal with Liverpool runs until June 2025, Real Madrid are eager to secure his services early. By reaching an agreement with the player in January, they can avoid potential competition from other top European clubs.

This move comes as no surprise, as Alexander-Arnold has long been admired by Real Madrid. The 26-year-old is considered one of the best right-backs in the world, known for his exceptional attacking abilities and pinpoint crossing.  

Liverpool, however, will be keen to keep hold of their star defender. The club is expected to offer Alexander-Arnold a new contract in an attempt to keep him at Anfield.

The coming months will be crucial in determining Alexander-Arnold's future. If he fails to agree on a new deal with Liverpool, Real Madrid will be waiting to pounce.
