Arsenal 3-2 Crystal Palace: Gabriel Jesus Leads Comeback with Hat-Trick
Arsenal triumphed over Crystal Palace with a thrilling 3-2 comeback victory in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals, thanks to a stunning second-half hat-trick from Gabriel Jesus.
The match began with Crystal Palace taking an early lead through Jean-Philippe Mateta in the fourth minute. Mateta capitalized on a long ball, outmuscling Arsenal's Jakub Kiwior to score, putting the Gunners on the back foot.
Despite struggling in the first half, Arsenal's fortunes changed after halftime when manager Mikel Arteta introduced captain Martin Ødegaard. Shortly after, Jesus equalized with a deft chip over Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson, showcasing his sharpness after a challenging goal drought.
Jesus struck again soon after, finishing into the far corner following a setup from Bukayo Saka. His third goal came in a similar fashion, allowing him to complete his hat-trick and secure the match ball.
Eddie Nketiah, a former Arsenal player, pulled one back for Palace with a superb header, setting up a tense finish. However, Arsenal held on to claim their place in the semi-finals for the second time in three seasons.

Arteta praised Jesus for his performance, noting the importance of his goals in building confidence within the team. Meanwhile, Palace's manager, Oliver Glasner, acknowledged that his team played too cautiously and failed to capitalize on opportunities.
Arsenal's next challenge awaits as they look to build on this momentum, while Crystal Palace will seek to improve in their upcoming matches.
