NBA News: Pelinka to meet with Varane in 5 days & confirm price!
Lakers' Pelinka will meet with Jonas Valančiūnas in five days, according to Lakers reporter Anthony Irwin.
“Pelinka will meet with Valanciunas and confirm his price when he becomes eligible for a trade on Dec. 15, league sources said. The league believes the Washington Wizards are willing to be open to a trade for Varane. The deciding factor will be the Los Angeles Lakers themselves.” Irwin wrote.
Valanciunas, a free agent, signed a three-year, $30 million deal with the Wizards this offseason. Varane, averaged 12.6 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 20.3 minutes per game this season.
