Real Madrid secure a thrilling 3-2 victory over Atalanta, keeping their Champions League qualification hopes alive

Real Madrid bounced back from two consecutive Champions League defeats with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Atalanta. The win significantly bolstered their chances of qualifying for the next round.  

Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, and Jude Bellingham were the heroes for Real Madrid, scoring crucial goals. Mbappe opened the scoring early on, but was forced off due to an injury. Charles de Ketelaere equalized for Atalanta from the penalty spot, but Vinicius quickly restored Madrid's lead. Bellingham extended the advantage before Ademola Lookman pulled one back for the Italian side.  



Thibaut Courtois was instrumental in securing the victory, making several key saves in the closing stages. With this win, Real Madrid climbed to 18th place in the 36-team table, while Atalanta dropped to ninth.
