On Barcelona and Benfica's wish list, Chelsea ready to fence off Reece James
Chelsea
have made a decision regarding Reece James' future amid transfer interest from Barcelona and Benfica .
It is understood that James' agent has recently approached the Catalan club and the Portuguese side regarding a possible move for his client away from Stamford Bridge.
It is thought that a move to warmer climes is being considered as a potential solution to the England international's frequent muscle injuries.

But according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are not considering any offers for James and they have closed the door on a sale.

Frequent Injuries
Chelsea captain James is currently out with another injury and will not return until the new year.
The right-back has had a poor run of injuries in recent seasons, managing just 654 minutes of football since being appointed Blues captain.

Frustration Not Playing
James has been a perennial under Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca, making just four appearances this season, with Malo Gusto shining in his absence.
Chelsea fans expressed their frustration at James' recurring injury problems last month, with one supporter calling on the club to consider selling him.

Chelsea's Key Pillars
The 24-year-old has been with Chelsea since 2008 after progressing through the club's academy.
James has made a total of 162 appearances for Chelsea to date, while he has been called up to the England squad 16 times.
He helped Chelsea win the Champions League trophy under Thomas Tuchel in 2021.
James was also named FA Cup Player of the Year for the 2020/21 season as Chelsea finished as runners-up to Leicester City.
