Arsenal Dominate West Ham with a Flurry of Goals in the First Half at London Stadium

Gabriel initiated the scoring in the 10th minute with a header from a corner, followed by Leandro Trossard tapping in the second. Bukayo Saka earned a penalty, which Martin Odegaard converted, and Kai Havertz finished off a pass from Trossard to make it 4-0 with 10 minutes left in the first half.

West Ham attempted a comeback with two quick goals. Aaron Wan-Bissaka scored inside the area, and Emerson curled in a free-kick.

In first-half stoppage time, we were awarded another penalty, which Saka confidently dispatched to restore our control. The second half saw us manage the game comfortably, securing the win.
The match was crucial for second place in the league table, and we started strongly, dominating possession with over 80% in the opening ten minutes. It was only the fourth time in Premier League history that the first half had seen seven goals. On average, a goal was scored every six and a half minutes, making the halftime break a moment for everyone to catch their breath.

Jakub Kiwior came on for Gabriel at the break, and Oleksandr Zinchenko was introduced early in the second half. Both teams continued to pose threats, with Michail Antonio narrowly missing a shot and Odegaard drawing a save from Fabianski. Substitute Raheem Sterling tested the defense with a shot into the side netting and a wide free-kick, but the second half lacked the goal-scoring intensity of the first.

Despite the quieter second half, the damage had already been done. This victory marked Arsenal's third win in a week, with 13 goals scored, setting us up well for a busy December.
